MITC Club SignMITC is a non-profit, private, member-owned tennis community. It was founded in 1967 by a group of families who loved tennis and wanted a place to play during the long New Hampshire winters. We are the oldest private indoor tennis club in NH.

Today MITC offers three types of memberships that include all court reservation fees. The types include a stockholder membership category, as well as single associate and family associate categories. We have three courts, a lounge/kitchen area and two locker rooms. There are two ball machines for individual practice/drills.

We are happy to introduce our new MITC website!

The goals for redesigning the club website are twofold. First, we wanted a more resourceful, efficient and enjoyable way to keep current members informed of club news, events, and reminders. Secondly, we needed a more dynamic marketing tool to help non-members learn about MITC as well as to keep the public up to date on events and initiatives we plan within the community and to showcase why MITC is the hub of activity that it is.

MITC hosts a number of social events throughout the year. These are ideal opportunities to meet other players and to enjoy the programs that the club has to offer.

  • Every year, the club hosts a pot-luck dinner at a member’s home in the late fall to kick off the indoor season -  just before winter play and team play begin to heat up.
  • Throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons, men’s and women’s singles and doubles round-robin tournaments  take place, culminating in finals and socials. Members watch their fellow players compete in the finals of all the tournaments while enjoying food and refreshments.
  • Evening socials are hosted by the club randomly throughout the winter. Members gather to play fun tennis with informal rounds of play, interspersed with refreshments and conversation.
  • The first Friday of each month usually finds a professional racquet stringer available to put new strings on racquets and there is a member available locally to string as well.
  • There are two ball machines for practice and individual drills and pros to teach lessons.
